WHO WE ARE…

Aoife, the founder of MIXR Ireland, is a full-time freelancer specialising in events, festivals, and social media. After over a decade working in Dublin, she relocated to Cavan with her partner—a move that came with both exciting opportunities and the challenge of building new connections in a smaller community.

1.5 years on, Aoife is on a mission to reinvigorate Cavan’s social scene by blending her love for creativity and community. This passion led to the creation of MIXR Ireland—a platform designed to bring people together through unique and engaging events.

Inspired by Dublin’s vibrant event culture, MIXR Ireland brings a fresh twist to Cavan’s social calendar with activities like table quizzes, paint-and-prosecco nights, yoga and pilates sessions, and even live podcast shows. Aoife’s vision is simple: to show that amazing events can thrive beyond big cities and create meaningful experiences regionally nationwide beginning here in Cavan.
